About Master's Hand Collection
Master's Hand Collection is a series of digital artwork that depicts God's hand at work in our lives. Each picture features an inspirational word spelled out in American Sign Language with a corresponding Bible verse.
The artwork was created for every Christian who is looking for encouragement and inspiration in their walk with Jesus. If you need a little pick me up, then this art was made just for you. Our hope is found only in Jesus! And He is my inspiration and muse. Each piece that I create is meant to lead you directly to Him.
The blog was started in 2016 to give us the chance to delve deeper into the Scriptures and to understand all that God has to say to us in His Word. My prayer is that you will find clarity and truth and that you to grow closer to Jesus as we study the Bible together each week.

Jesus, He is the name above all names, my Savior, Redeemer and Friend.
Hi everyone! My name is Connie Rowland and I'm the Artist and Blogger behind Master's Hand Collection.
I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended a local Baptist church during my childhood. That's where I learned about the love of Jesus, and where I was "saved". At a young age, I remember going to my mom and asking her what it meant to be saved. She was a young Christian herself so she took my brother and me to see our pastor. He explained to us why we needed Jesus and how to accept Jesus as our Savior. I knelt down next to the chair in his office and prayed a prayer and asked Jesus into my heart.
When I was thirteen God called me to be a missionary. I didn't fully understand what that meant for my life at the time. I thought missionaries had to go to China or Africa like the women I was taught about on Wednesday nights in church. As amazing as that is, I just didn't see myself doing that.
As a child I was always interested in art. I would doodle in sketchbooks, paint watercolors and make chalk drawings. The problem was, I was never very good at it. Sometime during my teenage years I discovered photography. I loved it but still didn't see myself doing that for a living.
Years went by and my love of art and photography were still on my mind. My mom and I would often talk about making pictures that would show God's hand in our lives. After my mom passed away a few years ago, I begin praying and asking God to show me what He wanted me to do with this next chapter of my life. He begin to reveal to me His plan to combine His calling me to mission work with my love of art. I started to teach myself more about photography and how to digitally enhance photos. Slowly, the Master's Hand Collection developed. My "mission" may not fit into the box of what a typical missionary does, but I'm very grateful for the opportunity to serve the God I love in a unique and creative way.
As much as I care about the quality of the photos, the Bible verses I put with each picture are the most important part for me. I spend a long time praying about them and searching for the perfect verse to use. (At least perfect in a relative sense, because they're all perfect.)
My goal in creating these pictures is to encourage the body of Christ. I hope and pray that these photos will inspire you to seek a closer and more meaningful relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
